Building for America's Bravest

March 28th, 2017 - We had the opportunity to install floors for Army Veteran CPL Zachary Parker and his wife Misty

We recently took part in the Tunnel to Towers’ Building for America’s Bravest program where we joined with others to build a great home for an amazing person. This home in Moss Bluff, Louisiana is for CPL Zachary Parker and his wife Misty. Zachary is an Army veteran who lost both legs and his left arm in Afghanistan when he stepped on a dismounted IED during route clearance patrol. He is a true hero and we are so happy to see him in his new smart home, which can be controlled entirely from an iPad.

As part of the program we donated the installation of hard surface flooring so that Zachary can move freely throughout the house. Lin said, "It was an honor and privilege for Beaumont Carpet One to be a partner in this new home project for Zachary and Misty. I urge everyone to visit B.F.A.B. [] and support this effort to help our most catastrophically injured service members."

It was wonderful to see so many people come together to thank Zachary and Misty with a home for them to enjoy for a long time. Check out some of the photos from this great day!
